The difference a job makes

Hard data supports anecdotal reports that being unemployed is the pits

While reading a new New York Times article on unemployment Monday, I was reminded of the emotional security and piece of mind a job provides. Having been through extended periods of unemployment during the last 10 years, I can anecdotally support the Times’ data. Being unemployed does injury to our self-esteem.
